What is a Partner Visa?
A Partner Visa is for someone who holds ownership (shares) in a business licensed in the UAE, typically on the mainland but also applicable in certain free zones. It allows the individual to live and work in the UAE while also sponsoring their family members. In this case, the company itself acts as the sponsor rather than a separate employer.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Own shares in a mainland-registered or free zone company.
- Be listed as a partner in the Memorandum of Association (MOA).
- Have a valid trade license and establishment card for the company.
Documents Required
- Passport (valid for at least 6 months)
- Passport-sized photographs
- Trade license copy
- Memorandum of Association (MOA) showing your name and shareholding
- Emirates ID application
- Medical fitness test result
- Entry permit (if applying from outside the UAE)
- Establishment card
Application Process:
- Register the business and obtain trade license.
- If you are outside the UAE; if already inside, adjust your visa status.
- Medical fitness test and fingerprinting for Emirates ID.
- Residency visa is stamped in your passport, and Emirates ID is issued.
