- The employer (a private company, government organization, or free zone entity).
Validity:
- Initially issued for 1 to 2 years, depending on the type of employment and sponsoring entity.

Basic Process of
Getting an Employment Visa:
Job Offer:
- A UAE-based employer offers a job to a foreign national.
Work Permit Application:
- The employer applies for a work permit (also called a labor card) from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE).
Entry Permit:
- Once approved, the employee gets an entry permit visa to enter the UAE (valid for 60 days).
Medical Test:
- After entering the UAE, the employee undergoes a medical fitness test (blood test and chest X-ray).
Emirates ID Registration:
- Biometric scanning and application for the Emirates ID.
Visa Stamping:
- The residence visa is stamped into the passport, finalizing the employment visa process.

- Valid passport
- Passport-sized photos
- Educational certificates (attested)
- Medical test report
- Job offer/contract
- Entry permit (if already in UAE, status change is done instead)
