Basic Process of Getting an Employment Visa:
Job Offer:
A UAE-based employer offers a job to a foreign national.
Work Permit Application:
The employer applies for a work permit (also called a labor card) from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE).
Entry Permit:
Once approved, the employee gets an entry permit visa to enter the UAE (valid for 60 days).
Medical Test:
After entering the UAE, the employee undergoes a medical fitness test (blood test and chest X-ray).
Emirates ID Registration:
Biometric scanning and application for the Emirates ID.
Visa Stamping:
The residence visa is stamped into the passport, finalizing the employment visa process.
